Architecture reflects Portugal’s Arab heritage with airy interiors and cool courtyards, the resort comprising high-end accommodation choices including the Pine Cliffs Hotel, Residence and the newly-featured Ocean Suites – each a member of The Luxury Collection. With their cliff-top location overlooking beautiful Falésia Beach, the elegant one and two-bedroom suites have fully equipped kitchens and dining areas.
Within the resort, dining choices are extensive and vary according to the season. The resort features nine restaurants and two bars, encompassing international menus and themed buffets; enjoy superb seafood at O Pescador and chargrilled meats at the Piri Piri Steak House.
A lift platform transports guests to the beach, where a full range of seasonal watersports are on offer. Swim in a choice of six outdoor pools and large indoor pool. Indulge at the new Serenity Spa while the kids cut loose in the seasonal Porto Pirata club. For golfers there is a 9-hole course.

Opening on 2 August 2018, the Pine Cliffs Gardens apartment complex is the most recent addition the luxury Pine Cliffs Resort. These 87 apartments with a contemporary, holiday home feel are ideal for families - located at the entrance of the resort, they are within easy reach of the Porto Pirata Kids' Club. Surrounded by tropical gardens and a majestic pine tree vista, they exude a sense of privacy and exclusivity, whilst within access to all the resort’s facilities and restaurants.
The immaculate Pine Cliffs Golf Course is set 200 feet above the miles of unspoilt beach and extends across 168 feet of natural land. One of the country's most original courses, the fairways run parallel to the Atlantic Ocean providing breathtaking views. The Pine Cliffs Golf Academy team offers a tuition service for those wishing to improve their skills, while experienced golfers can try the challenging Par 3 sixth hole - a championship tee built over a ravine requiring a 197 metre carrying shot over cliffs to a narrow green.
Dreams can become a reality for young footballers at Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort. The real grass football pitch takes centre stage for the Campioni Soccer Academy, run by ex-Premier League players and joined by many other famous faces from the world of football including Joe Cole, John Barnes, Wes Brown, Emile Heskey, Andy Cole, Andrew Johnson, and Michael Johnson. Campioni was founded to provide fun, entertaining, high quality, football academies. The UEFA licensed coaches and team all believe in sport, enjoyment and most importantly, family. When you watch a coaching session you will see that these aren’t footballers trading on just their name, football is their passion and passing their skills and tactics onto the next generation is simply what they love to do. For children aged between 6-15 years this is an unmissable and unique experience. The daily sessions focus on the children improving their technical skills, their game and their approach, delivered in a fun, safe environment on site at the resort. As a family you will also have the opportunity to socialise with the sporting celebrities throughout the week, enjoying the warm summer evenings together.
Southern Portugal including the Algarve enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. July and August are hot but temperatures are moderated by sea breezes. A good time to visit Portugal is May to June and September to October, where days are pleasantly warm and sunny.
