Emerging from a recent resort enhancement, The Breakers boasts a contemporary elegance and casual sophistication perfectly in tune with its beachfront setting. Rooms and suites feature custom-made furniture, marble bathrooms and resort or ocean views. Fronting the half mile of private beach is the Tropical Beach Club with its four oceanside pools and five whirlpools.
Dining options are varied, with nine à la carte restaurants ranging from the casual grill to fine dining. There are two 18-hole golf courses, watersports and tennis courts. Enjoy complimentary fitness classes daily, as well as access to Ocean Fitness, the indoor/outdoor oceanfront fitness experience. A programme of activities will keep the children entertained and the Spa offers the ultimate in indulgence.

Low season pricing for Florida is typically between June and October, and high season between November to May. Prices are based on two sharing (unless otherwise indicated) and include midweek return Economy flights from London. For Orlando, the Gulf Coast and Palm Beach, seven nights accommodation is included, whilst three nights accommodation is included for Miami and the Florida Keys. The Breakers is the destination for avid golfers with two championship courses; directly on site is the par 70 Ocean Course, Florida first eighteen hole golf course, ten miles away is The Breakers Rees Jones Course. Golfers at all levels will enjoy improving their technique or lower their handicap at the John Webster Golf Academy with golf class golf instruction, school and clinics. Beyond The Breakers, West Palm Beach is an excellent destination for golf. Palm Beach National Golf & Country Club is a classic, player-friendly layout that is a local favourite. West Palm Beach Golf Course is another popular play. This public course stands out thanks to the abundance of palms, pines, and oaks throughout its landscape. Just north of West Palm Beach is PGA National Resort & Spa, host of the Honda Classic.
With perennial sunshine and long days, Florida is a holiday destination to visit all year-round. The state is warm and dry in the winter and hot and humid in the summer, when short, heavy showers can be expected. Families who are tied to the school holidays should ideally aim to book at least a year in advance in order to take advantage of the best airfares and hotel availability. Palm Beach is also popular around the school holiday seasons.
