Four welcoming en suite bedrooms are cleverly designed around the central courtyard and its large inviting swimming pool. Distinctively South African, feature pieces of simple colonial furniture combine with deep comfortable sofas whilst subtle game and bush references embrace the local environment. Staff are attentive yet always discreet and, as well as catering for your party’s needs, will help you plan your stay down to the finest detail. Guests can also learn to cook South African dishes with the in-house chef. When it comes to exploring the reserve your private safari vehicle awaits, along with an experienced tracker and ranger. Expect sightings of the Big 5 and join a late afternoon safari for the opportunity to spot the rarely seen porcupine and aardvark, with sundowners in a scenic location.

Low season for South Africa is generally between the months of May to September, high season runs from mid December to Easter. Supplements may apply to peak periods such as Christmas and Easter. Prices are per person per night based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) and itinerary prices include return economy flights from London. Regional departures and single supplements are available on request. Accommodation only prices do not include flights. Where prices for our hotels, lodges and camps are shown as fully inclusive this generally includes all food and drinks but in most cases will exclude certain premium branded spirits, premium wines and Champagne. A year round destination, but expect cooler weather in the Eastern and Western Capes during winter, between June and August. Mpumalanga stays warm year round with temperatures, humidity and rainfall all increasing in the summer months between October and March. The whales return to the waters around Hermanus from July to November, and the spring months of August and September are particularly colourful along the Garden Route.
The prime time for game viewing is generally the drier winter and spring months from April to September when animals frequent the waterholes. During the wetter summer months between October and March, animals can still be viewed but are more widely dispersed – from December to February there may be more sightings of newborn animals.
