Built in classic Renaissance style its luxurious guest rooms, suite and villas exude classic sophistication, some rooms have private garden patios for al fresco dining or relaxation, whilst for those seeking the utmost privacy, Villas come with private entrance. Thoughtful family touches include a bespoke V.I.B range by Stokke. Dining encompasses a selection of restaurants including The Living Room, where the legendary Peninsula Tea is served, Mediterranean cuisine at the newly renovated Belvedere, and unique rooftop dining at The Roof Garden, grills and seafood are a speciality in the summer. The Peninsula Spa is a hidden gem whilst the 60 foot outdoor heated pool offers panoramic views of the city.

Summer in California is hot and dry with cool evenings, whilst winter tends to be milder with a little rain between January and March. Winters in San Francisco can be chilly and foggy, whilst Los Angeles can be smoggy in the summer months. On Lake Tahoe, expect cold and snowy winters, and although summer days can be warm, the evenings can still be chilly. To guarantee the best prices for your luxury family holiday, we recommend booking at least a year in advance for the following summer holidays.
