Dining at Vertigo, the rooftop restaurant, is the height of chic - the views over the city and the Chao Phraya River are simply breathtaking, while the 52nd floor is host to Saffron Sky Garden serving up a tantalising selection of signature contemporary Thai dishes. Low season for Thailand is generally between the months of April to October, high season runs from November to March. The exception is Koh Samui, where the low season runs from September to November and high season lasts from December to August. Prices are based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) with some including return economy flights from London. Regional departures, child prices and single supplements are available on request. Complete with first class service, royal Thai cuisine freshly prepared onboard and a stunning backdrop of dramatoc and flood-lit riverside landmarks, Apsara is the only way to dine on the water of an evening.
Thailand is generally very hot and humid with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The best time to visit most resorts, including Phuket, Khao Sok, Krabi, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, is from November to March, with the exception of Koh Samui which is best visited from December to August. However, with ever-changing weather patterns and excellent offers, it is well worth considering a holiday during the shoulder seasons.
