The design is an authentic Omani village, bathrooms extend to an outdoor shower area, and all suites and villas have a private pool and butler service. Guests can choose one of three unforgettable arrival experiences: a scenic ten minute speedboat trip; a drive down from the mountains, or choose to travel as a companion passenger with the resort’s professional paraglider - arguably one of the best ways in the world to arrive at your chosen holiday destination.
This innovative approach continues into the culinary experiences on offer which encompass Middle Eastern and international favourites, a Summer House bistro, Arabic restaurant Spice Market, a widely stocked wine cellar, an unconventional Zighy Bar and dining high atop the mountains at Sense on the Edge overlooking Zighy Bay.
The focus here is on holistic well-being; the Six Senses Spa offers Wellness Programmes alongside nine treatment rooms, two Arabian Hammams, an open air yoga pavilion and ice cave. Watersports are non-motorised and there is a fully equipped gymnasium, outdoor Jungle Gym, pétanque and tennis court. For adventure outside of the resort, trek into the canyons to climb and swim through rocky gorges, experience a dhow cruise and discover unique fishing villages carved into the Fjords. You can even scuba dive Oman’s most spectacular reefs and witness colourful marine life.

The vertiginous cliffs of the Musandam Peninsula offer a family adventure. Resembling a traditional Omani village, indigenous-chic accommodations front an expansive sandy beach and private marina. Oman experiences high temperatures throughout the year with minimal rainfall. The best time to visit is between October and March when it is cooler. During the summer months temperatures rise considerably, whilst hotel rates are at their lowest and offers are most attractive.
