A focus on wellness immerses guests in the Maya culture through a deep connection with nature, they grow their own herbs and vegetables on the estate and produce speciality honey from extremely rare bees.
Because of this authentic approach, there are multiple dining options including a farm-to-table restaurant and fine-dining venue Ixi’im - the signature sea bass ceviche being renowned. The spa is quite unlike any other; set beside an invitingly cool cenote believed to have been sacred to the Mayans, its treatments harness the mystery of Merida’s Mayan past. Venture to the Maya town of Chocholá alive with textile shops, markets and local cuisine or join local horticulturalists to learn about Mayan gardening.

Low season for Mexico is generally between the months of May to October, whilst high season runs from mid December to Easter. Prices are based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) and include return economy flights from London. For Mexico City, prices are based on 3 nights accommodation with no flights or transfers. Riviera Maya is enjoyable year-round, but October to May is generally the most pleasant time to visit. Humidity is at its highest from July to September, with occasional showers more likely to occur on the Gulf Coast. November to May are the most popular months to visit Baja Peninsula, characterised by warm, generally dry days, whilst July to October tends to be hotter and more humid with the possibility of tropical storms. Mexico City is best visited between March to May; winter brings cool temperatures, whilst June to October can be more humid with a daily short burst of showers.
