Cross the Australian continent in style on board the legendary Ghan which travels between Darwin and Adelaide via Alice Springs on its two night journey. Trains are operated by Great Southern Rail and offer superb views of the remarkable Australian landscape and outback. Platinum Service cabins are exceptionally comfortable with a choice of double or twin beds, en suite bathroom, panoramic windows, cabin steward service and a host of extras. Off-train experiences are also available but are included in the Platinum Service Fare.

Prices are based on 2 people sharing a Platinum Service cabin and include all meals on board, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and all off-train excursions. Complimentary morning or afternoon tea is also served daily in your cabin. Supplements for single occupancy are available on request, off-train experiences are bookable on board and payable locally. Departures are on selected days throughout the year, timings are indicative and may alter without notice. Platinum Service may not be available on every service, please contact our reservations department for full itineraries and departure dates. Shorter sectors and Gold Service fares available on request.

Arrive Alice Springs 09:10 for another off-train excursion opportunity / Departing 12:45. Spend some time in Manguri where you are able to immerse yourself in one of Australia's most remote outback settings Arriving 21:20 / Departing 23:10.

Arrive Adelaide

Arrive Adelaide 11:30 where you will disembark the notorious Ghan.
