Set in a grand sixteenth century palazzo on the Grand Canal, its light-filled salons are complemented by accommodation with views to the canal or the hotel’s private garden. Chandeliers and chinoiserie abound; walls are graced with wood panelling and silk coverings. In the elegant dining rooms, feast on culinary creations from the inspired hand of Michelin-starred chef Davide Oldani, or take your place under the flowering pergola to dine alfresco in the gardens. There’s a full manicures-to-massages menu in the captivating spa, dedicated to re-centering one’s equilibrium – the Himalayan salt exfoliation meriting particular mention - while guests can also enjoy an exclusive after-hours visit to the Gothic Palazzo Ducale, once home to the Doge.
