It lies within a walled compound once used by the Maharaja of Alwar during tiger hunts – the main building having a roof terrace that provides sweeping views across the landscape. Guests are accommodated in ‘Haveli Suites’ with private courtyards or in Pool Pavilions boasting outdoor pools. Enjoy excellent Indian and Western cuisine in the Restaurant, or relax with a light snack by the swimming pool. Further recreations include a spa for massage treatments, cultural excursions and local village tours.

The best time to visit India is from October to March. The monsoon season occurs from May to September with high rainfall particularly in the south, although hotel offers are at their most attractive during this time.
