Nestled in the picturesque town of Torno, it exudes panache, with designer Patricia Urquiola’s interpretations being both contemporary and relaxed. Stone, wood and copper grace airy interiors bathed in natural light from floor to ceiling windows, each of the suites boasting a private bar, custom robes and furnished terraces — all just steps from the lake shore.
In partnership with venerated Milan restaurateur and Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton, Ristorante Berton al Lago serves creative cuisine inspired by the rich produce of the region. The Lobby Terrace is the perfect place to drink in the stunning lake views over aperitivos.
The hotel’s fleet of deluxe Riva boats, with a driver if required, provide transport across and around the lake, while a heated freshwater infinity pool and Pool Club are the focus of recreations. March 2017 sees the opening of a full service spa.
