Guests have easy access to the Falls, only a ten minutes stroll via a private path from the hotel gardens. Stable Signature Wing rooms feature walk-in showers, Victorian bath tubs and come with complimentary amenities including a spa voucher, selected minibar items and afternoon tea in the Stables Lounge. Dine alfresco on Stanley’s Terrace with views to Victoria Falls bridge or in style in the elegant Livingstone Room where guests can indulge in a seven-course degustation menu; an evening buffet is presented at Jungle Junction to the accompaniment of traditional African shows. A swimming pool provides further relaxation.

Low season for Zimbabwe is generally between the months of December to May, high season runs from June to October, though many lodges offer the same rate year round. Supplements may apply to peak periods such as Christmas and Easter. Prices are per person per night based on 2 sharing. Regional departures and single supplements are available on request. The dry winter months between May and October are generally the best months for game viewing as the grass is lower, the vegetation less dense and the animals are driven to the waterholes to quench their thirst. Temperatures are hot during the day but can drop significantly at night, even falling below zero in Hwange. Daytime temperatures in October can be exceptionally high. The rainy season is usually from December to March, with beautiful, green landscapes. Victoria Falls are at their most dramatic from March to May, though the mist created by such a volume of water can obscure the views.
