Make like Robinson Crusoe at this wonderfully intimate private island. Where the villas and residence on its own peninsula seem to disappear into the rugged granite landscape, all thanks to their sheltered settings and savvy design using materials including native mahogany.
This is the Seychelles for adventurous souls. The place to get up close and personal with raw nature and be assured of impeccable conservation credentials. All the while, being cosseted by private butler service and sublime treatments in a spa set on a breeze-cooled peak with its own apothecary, zen garden and rainforest canopy views. Hike or mountain bike out from the villas and you’re in the company of giant tortoises and rare magpie robins that were on the verge of extinction less than three decades ago. Hook up with the resident ecology team and the you’ll find 11 kilometres of criss-crossing trails to explore, or have your eyes opened to nocturnal secrets on a spellbinding night safari. Little ones aren’t forgotten, for them there is a complimentary kids’ club during school holidays, fire camps on the beach, storytelling and stargazing with an expert astronomer.
