The excellent spa and Thalassotherapy centre invite connoisseurs of cosseting to select from over fifty revitalising treatments. Leisure time may be spent at the tennis courts, at the secluded sandy beach or by one of the five swimming pools, four of which are seawater. The Koala Kids' Club will keep younger guests aged three to twelve years well entertained.

Southern Portugal including the Algarve enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. July and August are hot but temperatures are moderated by sea breezes. A good time to visit Portugal is May to June and September to October, where days are pleasantly warm and sunny.
