Dubai / Jumeirah Al Qasr

Set in an elevated position by two kilometres of private beachfront, Jumeirah Al Qasr captures the magnificence of a Sheikh’s summer residence.

Majestic in every sense it is approached via a tree-lined avenue adorned with sculpted Arabian horses, the unrestrained opulence continuing through to the spacious rooms and suites which have been recently refurbished, and all offering views over the lush gardens or glinting Arabian Gulf. World-class restaurants and bars with alfresco terraces provide a thousand and one delights, the Arboretum being a perennial favourite thanks to its international menus and choice of dining areas, either alfresco by the waterway or in the ornate interior complete with iconic palm columns.

Don’t miss the legendary Friday brunch, serving delicacies such as Wagyu burgers and Spanish cuisine from live cooking stations. Extensive pool areas, the private beach and Talise Spa are the focus for recreation, while for children there is the Sinbad’s Kid’s Club. A traditional souk houses scores of boutiques and galleries.
