Set sail for a luxury dinner cruise

Aspara is a dining destination and experience that mustn't be missed - offered by Banyan Tree Bangkok, Aspera is an elegant restaurant converted from a vintage rice barge which cruises down the Chao Phraya River. Complete with first class service, royal Thai cuisine freshly prepared onboard and a stunning backdrop of dramatoc and flood-lit riverside landmarks, Apsara is the only way to dine on the water of an evening.

When to visit Thailand

Thailand is generally very hot and humid with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The best time to visit most resorts, including Phuket, Khao Sok, Krabi, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, is from November to March, with the exception of Koh Samui which is best visited from December to August. However, with ever-changing weather patterns and excellent offers, it is well worth considering a holiday during the shoulder seasons.
