St Lucia / East Winds

Set amidst twelve acres of flower-filled gardens leading down to its own sandy beach on La Brelotte Bay, this charming boutique hotel is stylishly furnished throughout.

The private owners continue to add their unique touches whilst the hallmarks of friendly, personal service and fine dining remain. Indeed, the cuisine is of particular note, the award-winning chef preparing lobster grills and international favourites alongside a healthy option, all served in the open-air Flamboyant Restaurant and accompanied by a choice of fine wines.

The air-conditioned, rondavel-shaped Superior rooms feature iPod docking stations, TVs and DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and fridges stocked with soft drinks and beers, whilst the Deluxe and Ocean View rooms also feature outdoor terraces. Complimentary yoga and Pilates classes are offered in the breeze-cooled Yoga Pavilion with pampering treatments now available at the Spa Pavilion. Relax by the pool, on the beach or sail around the picturesque bay in a hobie cat or kayak.

When to visit St Lucia

With its tropical climate and temperatures averaging 24°C, St Lucia is a year-round destination, though the best months to visit are generally from mid-December to May, when the island is drier and less humid. During June to November, the humidity level increases and intense tropical showers or occasional storms may be experienced – excellent offers are usually available during these months. A popular choice for luxury family holidays, St Lucia is usually busy around the school holiday periods; we recommend booking a year in advance, especially for the festive season.
