Fly to Australia

Fly from London Heathrow to Sydney.

On arrival at Sydney Airport you will be met and transferred by private car to the Park Hyatt Sydney for a three night stay in a City Harbour Room. Join a small group for an escorted sightseeing tour of Sydney. Travel through the historic Rocks area; witness the birth place of Sydney and explore the convict built cottages, pubs and first church in Australia. Cross the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of Australia's most recognised landmarks before heading through the leafy northern suburbs to the seaside town of Manly. (B)

Blue Mountains

Blue Mountains

Depart Sydney and transfer by private car to the Blue Mountains. Ninety minutes west of Sydney lies the World Heritage Wilderness of the Blue Mountains National Park. Its dramatic sandstone cliffs, thundering waterfalls and eucalyptus forested gorges invite bushwalkers to magnificent, breathtaking scenery. Spend two nights in a Deluxe King Valley View room at Lilianfels Blue Mountains. (B)

Orpheus Island Lodge

Orpheus Island Lodge

Transfer to Orpheus Island Lodge for a three night stay. Spend the following two days at leisure in resort swimming in the oceanfront infinity pool, or venture out in a motorised dinghy to explore neighbouring islands and hidden beaches. Diving and snorkeling are particularly spectacular here, with the principal dive sites boasting 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef. (B)

Fly from Hamilton Island to Cairns, on arrival collect your rental vehicle for a short drive to Port Douglas. Spend three nights at Silky Oaks. Two days at leisure for independent exploration of this region. Cairns is the gateway to a tropical kaleidoscope of colours, landscapes and experiences. Learn about the fascinating Aboriginal culture at Tjapukai Cultural Centre, take a scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest, cruise with the crocs on the mighty Daintree River or a hot air balloon flight over the Atherton Tablelands - contact our reservation specialists for further suggestions. Ayers Rock

Leave Queensland's tropical north and head towards one of Australia's most recognisable natural icons, Uluru, rising nearly 350 metres high from the broad desert plains. Take a short flight from Cairns to Ayers Rock and transfer to Longitude 131 for two nights. Your stay at Longitude 131 includes all meals, selected beverages. As one of only 30 guests, awake to your own private view of the sun rising over Uluru.(FI)
