The seaside theme continues, with Port Macquarie boasting fourteen beautiful beaches and an attractive township. Next follows vibrant Byron Bay with its eclectic mix of bohemia and sophistication and the contrasting Gold Coast. Journey’s end is on a high in the tranquil Main Range National Park.

On arrival you will met by a representative and transferred by private car to Four Seasons Sydney for a three night stay in a Deluxe Harbour View Room.(B)

Join a small group for an escorted sightseeing tour of Sydney. Travel through the historic Rocks area; witness the birth place of Sydney and explore the convict built cottages, pubs and first church in Australia. Cross the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of Australia's most recognised landmarks before heading through the leafy northern suburbs to the seaside town of Manly. A visit to the botanical gardens, Parliament House and Hyde Park Barracks is also included. After lunch return to the city passing through some of Sydney's famous beachside locations. (B,L)

Today, leave the city behind, the open road is yours as you commence your self-drive experience. Make your way to Pretty Beach, approximately two hour drive away. Pretty Beach is located on the tip of the Bouddi Peninsula National Park, pristine waters await as well as many nearby walking trails to choose from. Pretty Beach House comprises luxury accommodation for a maximum of 8 guests at a time, with 4 exclusive pavilions, Italian style cuisine at Stefano Manfredi's restaurant and rebalancing treatments at Bouddi Spa. Bouddi National Park has recorded 100 Aboriginal sites but many are likely to exist. Exploration is recommended in a search to find rock engravings, grinding grooves, rock shelters with art (drawings and paintings), middens and other archeological deposits. Today could also be spent admiring the spectacular coastline views. (FB)

Take a leisurely three and a half hour drive up the Pacific Highway to Port Macquarie for an overnight stay at Sails Resort. Spend a day at leisure for independent exploration. Head for one of the many surfing beaches, take a cycle ride to the Cape Byron Lighthouse. The town is also popular with festivals, events and the famous farmers markets. (B)

Leave the laid back atmosphere of Byron Bay and drive towards the Gold Coast, a two hour drive away. The Gold Coast buzzes with waterside restaurants, designer shopping, championship golf courses, endless surf beaches and world class amusement parks. Whilst here spend two nights at the opulent Palazzo Versace. (B)

Today is at leisure in the Gold Coast - contact our reservation specialist for suggestions - join a day on the Great Barrier Reef at Lady Elliot Island, visit one of the many parks such as Warner Bros and Movieworld or spend an afternoon at Sanctuary Cove with it's waterfront marine village. (B)
