Recreational facilities include the award-winning Els Club Teluk Datai golf course, recently redesigned by four-time major champion Ernie Els and his design team, alongside two swimming pools, an array of non-motorised watersports and nature walks with the resident naturalist - children's nature walks can also be arranged by request.

Low season is generally between the months of May to October for Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Borneo. High Season runs from November to April. Kuala Terenggau low season is generally between the months of November - February, high season runs from March - October. Prices are based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) with some including return economy flights from London. Regional departures, child prices and single supplements are available on request. A guide's knowledge is paramount to any experience and Irshad does not disappoint, facilitating encounters with rare species, such as flying squirrels, colugos and indigenous monkeys and birds.
Malaysia and Borneo are generally very hot and humid all year. The winter months from November to April are the most popular time to visit Langkawi, with the monsoon season occurring from July to October. Most rain in Kuala Lumpur falls from March to April and from September to November. Borneo experiences sunshine and rain year round, but the heaviest rainfall normally occurs between November and April.
