Larger than Leeu House it exudes the enthusiasm and pride of discerning Leeu Collection owner, Analjit Singh, who fell in love with Franschhoek and set about creating the ultimate uber-chic retreat by joining together three farms. Local wine tasting excursions are a highlight for many guests, as are the gourmet culinary presentations with their well-considered wine pairings.
Take a table in the Dining Room beside the roaring fire, or take advantage of sunny days by dining on the Garden Terrace among the colourful blooms. As for recreations, try a yoga workout, go for a jog along one of the many pretty nature trails or simply be pampered in the serene Leeu Spa where expert therapists offer massages and holistic treatments based on wild-harvested organic ingredients. Unwind in the plunge pool by the lily pond or take a dip in the infinity swimming pool.

Prices are per person per night based on 2 sharing (unless otherwise indicated) and itinerary prices include return economy flights from London. A year round destination, but expect cooler weather in the Eastern and Western Capes during winter, between June and August. Mpumalanga stays warm year round with temperatures, humidity and rainfall all increasing in the summer months between October and March. The whales return to the waters around Hermanus from July to November, and the spring months of August and September are particularly colourful along the Garden Route.
The prime time for game viewing is generally the drier winter and spring months from April to September when animals frequent the waterholes. During the wetter summer months between October and March, animals can still be viewed but are more widely dispersed – from December to February there may be more sightings of newborn animals.
